I am a guy who would do that in fact I did that with my ex. I do it because I don't believe you can be completely in love with two people. I know you love your current boyfriend but I think you don't love him as completely as the guy who won't talk to you. Your heart still holds on to your ex and I would say go back to him because he probably understands you more. Some guys would still want to be friends but maybe like your "won't talk to you guy" I believe that you can't be intimate with someone and still be friends afterwards, theres just too much emotion involved. Only you would know what to do in this case. I wouldn't give you the crappy "follow your heart" thing cause it is proven that is all bullshit. The heart misleads us all too often. I would say to think seriously about why you think about someone who wouldn't even talk to you. If the reason has no REAL emotion behind it then just let it go. If you do have some sort of emotion, maybe anger or confusion as to why he just won't talk to you(this is probably the real reason why you still think of him-my guess) then confront it ( I wouldn't suggest talking to him though but write a note or email something you know he will read.) just trying to help here....I am seriously hurt because I've been in the middle of something like this.
