Abortion Prevention Backfires

When I was 16 I found out I was pregnant. The lady at the clinic asked what I was going to do and I said I was going to get rid of it.
She asked if I was sure, then showed me a video of a woman having an abortion. It was horrible, the machine was scary, it was like some WWII torture scene. The woman screamed, it was barbaric.
I decided I didn't want to go through that, nor did I want my parents to know about it.
So I went home and induced a miscarriage myself.
That was 17 years ago. No regrets. No Problems.A day of pain and I was free.

I always thought Id never be able to go through with abortion. Then I thought I could be pregnant. The first thing I did was read everything I could about it. I agree with abortion but never thought I could take a life like that. But as scared as I am of abortion, Im terrified of pregnancy, motherhood, and having to admit to everyone that Im pregnant.
I couldnt have been happier when I got my period!
And I always use protection, I couldnt forgive myself if I got pregnant through carelessness!
But I think what you did was for the best.

No regrets huh and 17 years later your writing about. Im sure there will be a bunch of teenagers trying the same thing now. Congrats on your happy, healthy life.

Thats very sad that you had to do it yourself. I had to make a similar decision a few years back when I was in an abusive relationship with my ex. I thought I would never have to make that decision in my life, but it was for the best.

That's sad, that you aborted your baby.
I'm not going to preach to you though.

Well, it was 17 years ago. I'm pretty sure that kind of thing is illegal now!! Hopefully...
But that is a really sad story..
