I wouldn't recommend using those things... unless you want nothing to be different.. COME ON people! It's 2009 anno domini, do we really still believe that cardboard is somehow linked to the afterlife? really???? I mean the concept is enticing, but come on! What century are we in?

Joey dispose it off properly...stay safe.I dunno anything about this but i do believe in spernatural...i saw something in the park once..i was making a video and that thing appeared in it...i have a pic of it aswell :/

I wouldn't mess with it, Joey. I believe that the vast majority of spirits you find are malicious, and pretend to be a deceased loved one. I agree with patheticity.

I am a strong beliver as I actually had a supernatural experience this year, it was my first. My man and I were in this huge historical cemetary on a cold rainy day. No one was around that day as the weather was awful so it was just the two of us. I didn't see anything as I'm not sensitive to these things, but as we were leaving we were walking along and near us we could hear two women having a conversation. It sounded so real that neither of us thought anything of it until a few minutes had passed and he asked me if I also heard it. So that day changed my view on these things.
Anyway, I would never mess with a ouija board as I have had nothing but bad things about it. However, my friend and her boyfriend did it and the spirit they contacted seemed alright. Instead of doing it in their house, they did it a few streets away from the house, out in the street. Supposedly they contacted a male spirit that had died on that very road in an accident a few years ago. They asked him how old he would have been now if he was still alive, and he told them 35. They said they were sorry for him and he said he was "okay now" and faded away.

i'm not even sure if i believe in those things. i'd be too scared to use one, but sounds like your bf might be crazy or really is talking to his cousin on it D:

yeah i have a bunch of cats now so i think they drive them away a bit sometimes i hear running around on my 2nd floor and in the attic so i dont go up there but the kitties are on my 1st floor so theres nothing going on there(anymore) =)
but we threw it away(really really far away)
P.S. dont ever ever break it!!
Basically what the ouija board does is trap the spirit so if you break it then its stuck in your house
so i just brought it to the dump and i found out it also works well as a frisbee lol

Thanks for the warning patheticity. And fourfourtyfour, that is crazy! All that has stopped, right? But I would never try it if I knew the place was haunted. This house doesn't seem to be. I think his cousin is the only one here. But I guess you can never be too sure.

joey! i used to have one and it was horrible i said whats your name it said bob and i didnt believe it so i said okay what is my phone # and about 2 seconds later my phone rang so i picked it u and all there was, was a faint breathing in the phone so i hung up, i was scared shit!!!!!
if i stopped talking to him even if it was just to go to sleep things would fall of shelves and get thrown across the house it not a good experience
although i heard it only works if theres a spirit residing in your house or in the area where you are. . .
my house is very haunted plus it was built in the 1860's
so during the stock market crash in the 1920' the family that used to live here was murdered
the husband lost his job snapped and then killed his wife and 3 kids =/
and later on someone hanged themselves in my attic so yeah plus i did see a lady a few times who looks just like my great grandmother
if you smell embalming fluid sometimes thats also usually a sign that there is a spirit
sorry i rambled on and on like that. im really into that subject a lot

I wouldn't touch those things if I were you, Joey. I'm not a really superstitious person, but I believe there are things in this world that we are not meant to understand or mess around with. I did once, and I immediately regretted it. Things happened to me while using it, and afterwards, that I'd rather not discuss. The purpose of a Ouija board is open the door between the physical realm and the spiritual one. And when that door is open, you aren't always prepared for what comes through.
Some of you probably believe it's fake, as I did for most of my life. But now, I sincerely believe there is danger there. I'm wholeheartedly warning you against it, Joey.
