Are we falling out of love?

Posted by an anonymous user on 9/12/2008 8:26:00 PM
My boyfriend and I have been together for nearly seven monthes.I am 17 and he is 18, and up until the last month or so we have been madly in love and very happy. We both lost our virginity to each other.

However, lately I feel that I want to love him as much as I have, but I feel less passionate and excited by the prospect of spending time with him.

Can anyone tell me if they think these feelings are natural and represent the transformation to a more companionate love, or if I am losing interest? He still feels the same way he always has about me.

The fact that I still want to love him as passionately must mean something? Also I have been going through a stressful period, and fighting with his sister (who is my close friend) so maybe that is altering our relationship?

I think it's a natural progression in the relationship. Everyone gets to that stage at some point. Just remember to keep communicating and sharing things with each other and you should be fine and just as in love as ever!

i think its just those initial first few months were everythings like that and then things calm down and its not the same and thats what makes yu feel that way but really if yu still think those things then yu are most probably not falling out of love with them.

i would'nt say u are falling out of love with him... i would say that ur confrible and u don't have to impress each other everyday. u don't have to show ur love all the time..
i was with a girl for 4 yrs we had our passionate at the beginning.. now its more every once in awhile kinda like a special thing.
but other wise it sounds like u guys like it the way it is and u just afraid that u might be loosing interest becuase the same as the beginning is'nt there and don't worrie its ok. u still have alot to learn.. just go with the flow it may only get better after the worst..
