Best friend's suicide

I didn't tell my parents when my best friend comitted suicide because I didn't want them to tell me how comitting suicide is wrong.I wonder if they realize that he his gone.

I can kinda empathise, my parents are constantly lecturing me not to do stuff, i dont most of the time because im quite strong, they never notice the things behind the'rule breaking'
