Black People and Their Love of the Stereotype

Posted by an anonymous user on 10/13/2008 4:46:00 AM
I'm 18, and i'm black and have something to say to other black people.

as a generalization, we as a race are fake.

all of you girls with your weaves thinking that it looks natural are stupid. we all know your black people hair does not grow down the middle of your back, that your highlights start in your fake ponytail, and that red and blonde are not your natural colors.

your fat ass CAN fit into a larger jean. i promise. and you'll make yourself look better without all your rolls hanging out. and your tops can go up a size too - even for you skinny ass hoes in the making.

you don't wash your hair often enough for it to be okay to put all that damn gel in it. that's why your hair is so damn short in the first place.

it's okay to speak like you have some fucking sense. it's easier to communicate with you when you do.

you guys need to buy clothes that fit too, only you need to go down a couple hundred sizes and quit wearing your pants off your ass. and if you're not 300lbs, why are you buying shirts in that size?

you can't all be singers and rappers. especially since you all want it, but don't want to work for it.

you don't want people to judge you but you dress like thugs and skanks...what the hell do you expect?

and if you enjoy sounding like an ignorant dumbass and choose to use the n word, then you better not be upset when someone of a different race thinks it's okay for them to say it too. lead by example. and saying it doesn't make you cooler or better. it allows for judgement and assumption.

To the owner of this initial post, I have never been prouder to be an educator. I would abhor the day that I find one of my kids posting something so crude and hypocritical. My mom says class is cheap and few people have it. You said a lot about yourself in less than 20 lines of unintelligent rant and fragments. A few words of advice - intellectually gifted people do not need to use swear words in order to articulate a point, only ingnorant people speak in "generalizations" and more imporatntly God Bless you. Let us all continue our prodigious quest to - Ban Ignorance!!!

The biggest "issue" I have with black people is their blatant materialism.

Like, they have to have expensive clothes, a big car, bling around their neck, and --just in case you didn't notice-- gold on their teeth too!

What's that about??

It's not rude- it's the truth. It's not racist... it's the truth.

Being complety bias about your own race, is that you goal. If so you made it. You say your tired of black people and their stereotypes but we have people like you and the media emphasizing what others potray the typical black person. Where are your sources, not all black people fall into the caterogories you stated. It seems to me someone is ashamed of their race. If black isn't working out for your GO CALL MICHAEL JACKSON;;do sumtin bout it. 'Cus im not bout to let some wanna be white boy stereotyping black kid bring me down. You need to get your mind right, come to my city and say some shit like that. Oh you will get right or THEY will get you right.

What if I said Im tired of white people with cutting theyselves, their music, and trying act black around blacks and being two-faced. Would I be stereotyping or being racist. Think Before You Talk.

I dont want to sound racist but why the hell do all the music/rap (yeah right) videos have black girls shaking thier asses around? and how the hell is THAT considered dancing? And don't forget how when dancing to a random uber white girl like myself is ballet or something but to everyone else it is stripper dancing? why? it makes me feel fat when i dont rip off me clothes and shove my ass into some guys face. me no comprende.

I agree to the fullest. I am half Native American and get very tired of some native people making us all (as a generalization) look foolish. It is ok to be proud of your heritage, and it is an even better thing to learn from others mistakes...

This entry was biased, racist and completely rude. It's a shame that you're that ignorant about your own race that you think that every black person is like that. And the thing about weaves is retarded. Plenty of wealthy and not so wealthy white women as well as women of other races use hair extensions, wigs and hair pieces and no one tell them crap like that.
Posted by an anonymous user on 10/13/2008 10:52:00 AM (Report abuse)
Well, i would have made a big deal about this if you hadn't said it's a "generalisation" first. Because yeah, it is.
Posted by Jotiii on 10/13/2008 10:02:00 AM (Report abuse)
Mm I agree about the hair....weaves aren't necessary! Black women should embrace their natural hair because they are all so beautiful :)
