Ive picked up your peices
Sown you back together
kept you together
helped you
been your best friend
made you smile
made you happy
I put you back together when he broke you
Time and time again
How does he get away with the bare minimal?
Just barely coming back
when I'm here with my heart on my sleeve
ready to make you happy
ready when he fucks up
Ready to do anything for you
even sit here and get broken myself
time and time and time again
seeing you go through this kills me
its a damn never ending circle
you almost ended it
and then he comes back
all knight in shining armor
all British dapper and debonair
what am i?
whats wrong with me?
I'd give anything to make you smile
Ive cancelled dates for you
Ive dropped everything for you
Ive driven 120 miles per hour
to get to you
to cheer you up
What do I have to do to prove to you I'm worth a try?
That I'm better than him?
and every one o our friends agrees
I sit here
tears in my eyes

I've been in your situation time and time again. And I can tell you one thing It just takes time, because at first she is afraid to like you in the state that if you guys did end up together if you broke up she doesn't want to lose what you guys have. But you need to truly talk to her and tell her everything you just wrote. She'll respect it. And explain that she doesn't need what she's going through and that you wouldn't do that to her..
I'm not great at this kind of stuff but I know what to say when it comes to love..

im in the same situation, only im the girl.
my bestfriend, J feels that way about me,
is always there for me.
and i think im starting to realize i might be in love with him.
but im not quite sure.

maybe thats all she needs you to be right now
a best friend
someone to talk to her problems about
someone to tell her she deserves someone better than him
a shoulder for her to cry on
until one day she realizes that she wants you as something much much more
that day might not arrive soon,
but if you think she's worth the wait
then wait
