Classical Conditioning

I'm addicted to xbox so in order to try to cut back on my playing time I'm going to try to do something very uncomfortable while playing xbox.Hopefully I'll eventually associate my xbox with pain or discomfort, this will influence me to play less and help destroy the urge that I get.Once this process is complete I will be able to focus on other things like getting a job and working on my writing.Do you guys think this will work? And I need ideas on uncomfortable or painful things to do to myself while playing (nothing that will cause permanent harm).

That was terrible. I ended up quitting early. I hate balsamic vinaigrette. It worked though. I don't want to play tonight. Mostly because I'll put a napkin of dressing on my face again... yuk

I found my smell. Balsamic vinaigrette. I the smell makes me want to puke. I'll be back on at 6 to report on how it goes.

I can't do anything to disrupt the gaming, like rubber bands, smell might work. This is gonna suck but it's for my own good. now to look for something smelly...

hhahahaha :P this is a good post. How about, you cut back slowly. Eat brussel sprouts when you play for more than an hour a day. I don`t know about you, but that would be torture for me. People say rubber bands work, flicking them on your wrist. Or you make yourself smell something really bad. Like sweaty gym socks or something. Smell is most effective I think.
