Im 11 years old and i am white. when ever im around some of my (black) friends i want to be black really badly. even when im not around them i feel the need to be one of them. i often listen to music from soulja boy....arab .......bones...akon....ice tea......snoop dog....al of that stuff. one problem....my family is racist. HELP ME

hey if thats what u want to be then do it just becareful what u say to strangers.. i mean look at eminem he grew up in a community with alot of blacks and he is doing fine... but true thing is just be urself.. who cares what everyone else thinks u are...

The most important thing you can do is to learn to love yourself. Appreciate yourself for who you are. It's ok to look up to other people. To admire others. But in order to be happy, you have to love yourself for who you are.

Don't try to be something you're not. Just be you. And they are your friends, not your family's.
