I'm gay.Love to see cute guys during Church meetings.Gay saunas.Gay bars.Sex sex sex! ! But, I am a full time missionary.Attending bible college right now even.In a very conservative church! I am such a hypocrite...
Sometimes I do wish for a nice gay christian who understands what I am going through...

This is my thought......
If God is all-knowing, and all-loving, then he knew, at the Genesis, that you would be gay, and that he would still love you regardless. To me, the thought of a god, who gave man freedom of choice, and forgave us of all sins with the death of his son, damning anyone for being homosexual, is hypocritical unto the Christian religion. And, with all the other wrongs in the world, I cant beleive that he would consider homosexuality a damning offense.
Please, please, PLEASE, dont listen to ANYONE who says that loving an other man is wrong. It maybe for them, for you its normal, and you should go with what you know. Be who you are, and dont let people, society, or even religion force you into being what you're not, and causing you to hate yourself. That just isnt fair for you. Love who you want, and I know God will still love you.
Please write me back, send me a message, or just post on one of my "secrets" so I can know how you are doing, and what choices you are making, I would very much like to know.

dude...i can totally relate to you...well maybe not the sex sex sex part hahaha...but, I, myself is a church goer and i love to go to church because it cleansing for me and it encourages me to be a better person. you are not a bad person. the only thing you could do is to try to eliminate those thoughts or try to limit them. maybe the other thing is that you need to release it.
it may sound weird but once youve released that pressure, all the dirty thoughts normally goes away.

i don't beleive that god would make you this way if he wanted you to suffer this much. the bible was written by MAN not god.

you must remember the secound part of the bible is the current covnenate between man and God.
God does love you no matter what but it is clear that homosexuality is a sin. that may be your struggle. talk to God he will direct your path. you need to repent and guard your heart. i heard of a guy who was gay then he heard the gospel and he re[ented. he is now married to a women and has kid. he still has feelings for men but he learn in time to sheld himself from some things.
i hope make the right choce

hi I'm not gay but I'm a believer...not a christian (by the I.D.) nor a religious person, but someone who has encountered the love of Jesus Christ in his life. I'm not against anyone and i accept all kinds of people. but it is good to know that the real "christian" is he who builds a relationship with his God. so since you say you're a missionary forget the bible for a minute, forget the church, forget the rules, and try to focus on the one person who actually matters in all that "bureaucracy": Jesus.
my advice to you is to ask him to make a step towards you and introduce himself and his love into your life. tell him you want to get to know him better and maybe you'll even get to know what he thinks of all you're going through.
i pray for you and your decisions and may you know Jesus more no matter who or what you think you are...you are loved

in the bible it also says that no one should shave ever and that sick people should be cast out of their cities and homes and forced to shout " UNCLEAN! UNCLEAN!" until they are clean. :D

Dear anonymous. Let's clear something up. You are referring to Leviticus in which God says that homosexuality is an abomination. But in Leviticus God also says that you should treat open sores with the blood of dead birds and says that when you offend Him you should engage in some pretty grisly animal sacrifice. Do you kill a bullock every time you offend God and spray its blood around the tabernacle? No? Gee, so I guess you pick and choose which parts of the Bible you want to agree with and which parts just don't make sense in the modern context. Interesting that the parts you select as "relevant" are the ones that allow you to cast stones at other people and make yourself feel better. I love how people claim to know the mind of God. Take all of the libraries of the world, every thought, every dream, every secret- all knowledge of everything that's ever happened- take all of that and turn it into one single instantaneous thought...and you wouldn't even approach what it means to be omniscent. What person would presume to speak for that? To know that? It's the height of arrogance and folly.
My advice? Be who you are and don't try to conform to people like that. People who try to "reprogram" themselves to "not be gay" often have terrible bouts of depression and suicidal ideation. They don't know God any better than you or I.

Being Gay is against the word of God just like many other things. I think that you want someone to make you feel good about being gay and to tell you that its ok. It's not and I pray that you figure that out. Maybe you should stop being a hypocrite and go and talk to your church leader. Get some freedom and let the lord work you out and help you with your issues. My opinion is that you need some deliverance and you need a level of truth about homosexuality. No I don't hate you nor am I trying to bash you, but I do hate that sin that you are in. Calling it like I see it. I to am a Believer in Christ and I will tell you straight up that you are playing with fire. How about go and holla at the lord and be real with him so he can again deal with your issues.
