I'd like to point out that I believe in God and I am 100% heterosexual. In spite of both those facts, I still believe you are a close-minded, intolerant moron. What they do in the comfort of their own homes is not your business in any which way, shape, or form. To put it simply, it can't be sickening to you if you don't have to see it. Furthermore, as the brilliant person before me stated, you are a puny, insignificant human being incapable of knowing what "God thinks." What, do you have him on speed dial or something? Do you guys chat every night about politics? If so, please give me his number. I have COUNTLESS questions to ask him about what the FUCK he was thinking when he decided to create humanity, as we are undoubtedly FUCKED UP creatures.

Coincidently, one of the reasons I believe we are so fucked up, is because so many of us continue to be ignorant, half-witted bigots who cannot learn to accept the qualities of the people who are different from themselves. You are all afraid of anything that is different or unknown. It's pathetic, at best.

What on Earth leads you to believe that they would be living a "better life" if they were straight? I know many straight people that live miserable lives and plenty of gay people who are happy. (The term "gay," for your information, implies it) Therefore, there is no evidence to support your claim.

Finally, what in God's green Earth has caused you to believe that you are in ANY way entitled to tell people how to live their lives. Gay people cannot CHOOSE to be straight, it's simply part of who they are. In fact, (in most cases) biologically speaking, since the body is afflicted by a hormonal or glandular anomaly that causes the person to secrete less of their gender's specific hormones, the person is literally ANATOMICALLY inclined to be attracted to the same sex.

In short, they have less of a choice about their sexuality than you do about your religion. Thus, the day you can tell gay people to stop being gay is the day I can rightfully tell you to stop being an overly religious, close-minded, inbred Christian who thinks nothing of imposing her own contradicting, hypocritical religion on other people who frankly CANNOT give a rat's ass about what your Church thinks. Until that day comes, I suggest you take your trusty bible and place it firmly in your ass.

Jesus Christ was perhaps the most influential liberal thinking man in the history of our planet, yet his only followers are apparently nothing but uneducated conservatives that have clearly not a CLUE what he was talking about. That, my friends, is the true definition of irony. If you ask me, solely based on his actions, I would guess that Jesus would have welcomed homosexuals with open arms. If I were Jesus right now, I would be ONE UNBEARABLY frustrated man. Wouldn't you?

or did you read it in the bible... that was written by men, that means they could have fucked up because they were human. Jesus Christ himself never used a bible to preach because pretty much the greater part of the new testament of the bible is about the way he lived so it couldn't have been written yet. Moses the only man to have seen God committed a sin and died for it, yet people have the nerve to tell other people whats right or wrong using Gods name. Me personally being gay just isn't how i roll, but it doesn't mean that being gay is the wrong way to roll. And being gay isn't even a race so how are you being racist? Firstly, II dont believe that sexuality is just black and white.. you can love a man or you can love a woman... or you can love both. You fall in love with someone for who they are... not what they are.
Personally, Im not straight.. and I haven't even been able to be open to my family because the world has made it such a big deal to be anything but ordinary.
I believe in God. But the god I believe in.. isn't the one that you do. The God that i believe in doesn't discriminate against ANYONE. Doesn't matter your race, colour, religion, sexuality, gender. The God that i believe in loves everyone for who they are. And i believe the catholic church isn't even speaking for God anymore... but more for themselves..

You do have the right to think that being gay is wrong. You do not have the right to pass judgment. Only GOD does! If being gay is a sin, then HE will pass judgment when the time comes.

Ask yourself what would Jesus do? If you look back to the good book, Jesus befriended the outcasts of society-- hookers, lepers, tax men- those members of the community that were deemed as sinners. God will judge every man, gay or straight, that's his job. While they are on this earth, however, what they need from you (and other good Christians) is your compassion and understanding.

I do not believe that being gay is a choice. Scientists are very close to proving that people are born gay, which means that God made them that way. Perhaps he is testing YOU on how you treat others

Also- when we find that what others' do bothers us deeply what we need to ask ourselves is why. What someone else does, that does not concern us or affect us in any way, should not bother us-- unless it is directly connected to how we feel about ourselves. Perhaps you are uncomfortable with your own sexuality or even your own spirituality and you are projecting that onto others.

well see? You've just come up with two reasons why gay people are cool! They tend to be clean (lol my friend isn't!) and they tend to be sweet. Forget what the bible says, if it preaches hatred against your fellow man. Take only the good parts of that book, like love your neighbour. That certainly covers some of the gay or lesbian people on this site, doesn't it? They count as neighbours.

Okay, so saying being gay is a bad thing? But who are you to judge? In the bible it says we can judge other christians or whatever & put them in their place. But if there not living their life right, do you think they will come to know or love God if your telling them that being gay is wrong?

I think you should ask a pastor to pray for you before you try to pray for the gay world. Because you need to be open to all things. God loves everyone even if they love man on man or women on women. You would know that if you paid any kind of attention in bible study...
