19 years ago, I was curled up in my baby blanket with the other babehs, wiggling and dreaming, not aware of my surroundings, seeing as I was just born at noon. ^___^
I was like a little monkey at the zoo, 'cause I'm told my hair looked really kooky. :D That, and you could totally tap on the glass and I'd have NO idea.

Yup, today was my birthday. For another 55 minutes, I am Birthday Lauren and for another full year, I am 19 year old Lauren *omits last name*.

I feel very warm inside and very happy.
It had nothing to do with the flowers, or the presents.
It was because today it was a warm, beautiful and delicious day. ^__^ Because I woke up to a few sweet texts from my friends who live far away and couldn't be there, but still wanted to wish me a glorious day.
And to say, "Damn you're old." - Brian.

Because my sister, mom and I had a great breakfast together, laughed and had smiled all the way through.
Because I picked out a pretty white sun dress to wear and when Nikko saw me, his eyes lit up and he hugged me really tight, presenting me with flowers and a kiss on the cheek. :D
Because after school and for a little bit after work, I had an amazing time with him and friends.<3
And after I got home, my mom smiled at me and said, "Happy Birthday, baby, " before cutting me a slice of the cake she made me.
<333 It wasn't the presents or the flowers, it was the people..the people and also because...today I feel very grateful to be alive. Very thankful that I have the oppurtunity to make my life something special and meaningful to me, and I have been given life. And because I got to celebrate it with the people who love me, and share it with an awesome twinnie.<333
