Just learned there are raccoon dogs in China being skinned alive to make fake "Ugg" boots.

Considering how many idiotic girls wear those things (they are hideous and completely unnecessary on about 70% of the globe) because they are trendy, I hope they all find this out and feel exactly how horrible they should feel.

Learn where your goods come from BEFORE you buy them.

Note: some companies are actually using both "Made in Australia" and the name "Ugg" to try to pass off the cheaper boots at higher prices.

Yes it's fraudulent and unethical, but the point is it's very hard to tell the difference.

Real Ugg boots are around 400+ USD a pair (if the £200 figure in that link and my recollection of exchange rates are both still correct). Keep that in mind if you are buying.
