I miss him

I went out with this guy for two months.
he was amazing.
He told me he loved me.
but I found out he was talking about me behind my back calling me weird and stuff to his friends because I'm not that "popular".I didn't think he cared about that.
i broke up with him.
then he said sorry a million times and wrote me a poem too.
But I was too hurt.
i want to get back together now but I don't know how to tell you.
i think he still kind of cares what his friends thing.
he doens't really talk to me when his friends are around.
now my best friend likes him and I think he likes her too.
I can't tell her that I like him because she will get mad at me.
it's not fair I guess that she likes him alot.
but I just miss everything.
his hugs and kisses.
his sweetnes.
please help.:(
