You were my first love and best friend. You said you loved me, but left because I said we weren't ready for marriage. How could you love me so much to want to marry me, but you couldn't wait to finish college and allow me to start my career? That's all I was waiting for. It's been 20 years and I think of you everyday. I'm still in love with you and I miss your friendship. I don't want to feel this way anymore.

I've had those same feelings for someone for 8 years. Sometimes, you never get over someone. Your soulmate... It's kind of amazing that they can be so strong after all this time.
