I think i like him but i cant admit it

ive known him for a year.it was a rocky start but later on, we were fine as friends. up until recently, he had shown so many signs of giving me some interest- touching feeling, stares, territorial hold, rubs, squeezes, and the most recent: admonished me in a publication (without really saying it was me-though it was fairly obvious, on my part anyway).
one day, he dragged me out of the cafeteria while i was having a chat with some guy, pinned me to a corner and said we needed to talk.
he didnt say anything, in fact what we had was a kiss, one of the longest one-minute kiss ive ever had.
i didnt shove him off and didnt say anything about it at all.
he just let me go after, and i walked away as if nothing happened.
now we dont see each other nor talk to each other, except for a very "once in a blue moon" chat.
what does this mean?
or should i say is there any meaning to this at all?

Either yuou are very, very young or have never dated... not SO unusual. Women choose whom they will be with and unless you choose him, he will never be able to choose you. Unfortunately, the Culture does not tell you that. Hence, you are young or have not figured it out your self.
Giving him the 'go ahead' is very easy, too. Just touch him on his body (NOT a sexual touch) ~ on his hand, his face, brush away a lock of his hair, put your hand on top of his for a moment. Something that gives him "permission" to be in your company. He is there ~ you need "to let him in" to let him into that speical place we all reserve for 'us' ~ a three-foot distance between us as we talk (in Japan it is only 2 feet!). Think of it as the key on the basketball court ~ you are under the basket and he cannot enter "the key" without your permission. He wants to, because he keeps coming around, so ...
