I'm so stupid..

I was friend with this guy last year and we talked and stuff and he asked me out and I said let's talk and stuff during the summer and we'll see.So the new school year comes around and we talk alot and he asked me out again.I said that I think we should just be friends.I made another mistake with him.have I lost my chance with him? I know I was stupid.this is all my fault.

i told my best friend to tell him I liked him and he said that he doesn't like me anymore and then I was talking to one of his friends and she said that he was telling her that he was going to ask me out again.But then I didn't know if he was telling my best friend or his friend the truth so I told him that when my best friend told him I liked him she lied.He said that he didn't believe her anyways.
