I've Only Known Him For 4 Days

So I've only known this guy for like 4 days, but everytime I talk to him or see him I get all excited. And I dumped this guy already for it. I really don't know what to do. And I don't know if I'm being shallow, because he is really conservative and I am very left-wing, and I don't know what I am doing. And I want to date him, it's just I don't want to scare him away from all the suddeness, but I'm leaving and moving across the country in 4 months.
I don't know what to do
