Major Confusion

There is this really great guy and we both like each other.
He wants a relationship but I don't think that I could do it.
We are best friends right now.
But that's not the problem.
The problem is that he's a different race and my family is a little weirded out.
Or we're a tiny bit racist well not really.
We just think that our city is being taken over by brown people.
The last time I dated one...
Grr...
I'm so confused.

Im in love with an asian and im white. My parents are a little racist well actually alot racist but not in a totaly mean way they just belive theres too many and white peopel are getting washed away.He was my friend for a while and when i first brought him home my parents were shocked becuase i always date white guys thery were a little weird around him but as soon as i told them i had feeligns for him ther totaly understood and my parents love him despite the colour of his skin.
Mabe the way to fix it is talk abtou it with him and let your parents no you have feelings for this guy.I hope it all works out
