My boyfriend is gorgeous

And he could have any girl in the world but he chose me.But the problem is that he is an asshole and we have an intense love/hate thing going on.We scream and throw things and fight...but then we have sex and everything is fine..
Then afterwards, when we go out to town, I feel like there will never be anyone more perfect for me because I love him so much.
But then we eventually end up fighting again.
He has slapped me 3 times in the past year, pushed and shoved me, grabbed me, called me names..
I have hit him multiple times as well.
I know I'm wrong to hit him, but doesn't he realize that when he is much stronger than me? Physically and emotionally?
Everyone tells me that I need to break up with him and I know they are right...but why can't I?

I completely agree with the first post.
It's a dumb and unhealthy relationship, his personality should be way more important than his looks or how good he is at sex.

Its a complex that girls have. There is some void that an abusive guy/relationship is filling.
But ask yourself, why would you post this on here if you're just gonna turn around when people say break up with him and whine and say "but I can't!"
Umm yes you can. And realize that the first thing u said is "he's so gorgeous." Cool, he's good looking but he's a douchebag.
Talk to someone, realize your relationship is not healthy, and move on. This guy isn't right for you.
