My crush is back with his EX- and hes inlove with her...=[

so last year i met this amazing guy..who at the time i was interested in but never let him kno bcuz i had just gotten out of a really difficult relationship with my ex- who was a complete jerk. This new guy asked me out various times to dinner and nights out on the town and due to circumstances i turned him down many of the times and only saw him in a group setting type deal..i kno it sounds dumb but idk i was nervous...to make a long story short, he tried to give me a kiss and i pulled away bcuz my friends told me if i did i would look to easy and now till this day i have to say iz the biggest regret ive had. Some months passed and we stopped speaking and now everytime he wants to hangout with me he mysteriously cancels our plans. I didnt kno why he did this until his friend told me he was back with his ex- . Him and his gf previously dated 4 over 2yrs. Idk wat to do..it sux and i feel as if i missed out on someone who was worth it.
