My family didn't beleive me and I worry noone else does

my grandfather sexually abused me.
When I went to my family they didn't beleive me
now I feel like noone ever beleives anything I say
I am so desperate for one of them to say "I beleive you!" and even though I know it won't happen I still hope it will.

I believe you and I'm so sorry. There are other people besides your family, and one day you will find them, and one day they will believe you too.

I am sorry no one believes you, but I believe you. Stay strong and remember it is not your fault.

I believe you, too. We believe you. Others outside of your family will believe you.
Your family cannot face something so ugly in their midst. It is their guilt and blindness to the abuse and the aftermath - and most importantly, its affect on you - that makes them so uncomfortable and determined to remain unable to see, unable to believe.
We belive you. We do.

I have three nieces who were sexually abused by their grandfather (my brother-in-law's father). The two oldest girls kept it inside for years. The youngest one blew the whistle the first time it happened. Know you aren't alone. All three girls are doing wonderful now. How old are you? If you are still in school, is there a teacher you feel comfortable enough with to talk to? Do you have a friend who's parents you feel comfortable with? If your family won't believe you, you need to find some one else, and you need to get into therapy because that is what has healed my nieces. You're family is wrong not to believe you and you need to understand NONE OF THIS IS YOUR FAULT. You have done NOTHING wrong.

How old are you? If you're young you need to go to the police then...or just go to the police in general if you haven't already...
