If we could save lives ,none of our loved ones would have departed.It must be hard to just leave behind that particular incident but you need move forward.Cherish the moments of her that you might have shared with her. Stop blaming yourself for something you never did. Take care.
Don't. You couldn't have saved her, but because of that, take it as a lesson and really celebrate your life and value the people in it. We're all going to be gone someday. But hold on to her memory to remind you, to love with your whole heart, and live with your whole heart.
You couldn't have saved her from herself. It was her life to do with as she pleased and she chose to throw it all away. Nothing you or anyone else could have said or done would have made much of a difference. In the end, it was her call to make and she did exactly what she wanted to do. No one's to blame but herself. I'm sorry for your loss and I hope you can find the strength in yourself to forgive and move past this.
