You have to be careful though. Some nerds can be simply adorable in my opinion. My boyfriend could be considered a little nerdy because he loves superheroes and whatnot, but he's still manly, knows when too much nerdiness is too much, and is still very good looking. I just find that knowledge of the best superheroes/villains is pretty sexy.
But you can go overboard. You don't want to be the guy who's still collecting Pokemon cards well into his 30's, living with his parents, and playing video games all day instead of getting a job.
Haha I do agree with Anonymous0623. Super nerds are a little creepy. But if you just want to be a little more nerdy, I would suggest these things:
- Read more comics/graphic novels. There are so many different Batman and Superman and another other super-hero comics out there that could keep you well occupied for decades. Even if you're not too into superheroes (which is blasphemous for any nerd), there are comics out there that have nothing to do with superheroes!
-Watch more "nerdy" TV. I've heard BattleStar Galactica, Doctor Who, and the newer Star Treks are pretty good, though I've never seen them. Or you could go old school and pick up some original Star Trek with Kirk or Picard (I prefer Kirk myself, but that's just because Shatner's the man).
-Books. Harry Potter, Percy Jackson, The Zombie Survival Guide and/ore World War Z (both by Max Brooks). If you want to appeal more to chicks try Pride And Prejudice And Zombies, or Sense And Sensibility and Sea Monsters. I would also check out Abraham Lincoln; Vampire Hunter (by the same author of the last two), though it's not out yet. Looks good to me!
- Movies! Star Trek, Star Wars, anything with zombies, old school horror flicks, B-Movies, etc.
Anyway, good luck, have fun, live long and prosper, and may the Force be with you!
