Well maybe your friend just likes the idea of this job.. you shouldn't let your friends opinion bother you so much. You have made your decision, don't let her get you down.
To be honest I think jobs in the porn industry are dis-respectful to women however that is just my opinion.
Try and move on through this and tell your freind you have made your decision and nothing she can say will change your mind, in a calm tone of course.
