When I found out he raped her, I wished it was me instead....she didn't deserve it.....neither did I but I still feel that it is all my fault

If you want to help, then just make sure that this person never rapes anyone again. Get him put in jail or have someone kick his ass in a way that will stay with him his whole life. He should be raped the way he raped her. He's a pig. It's not your fault or her fault, it's his fault and he should be punished.

The past is the past, what happened happened.
You can't control it any more than you can control the weather. Don't blame yourself even if you feel you need to. Move on, forgive, heal, help. Don't wander in the past instead of looking in the present; you'll just find yourself in a car crash in the future.
