Rejection

I asked a girl out today that I've known for a while and she rejected me, i'm feeling depressed

I'm a girl and I completely agree with G. Keep going strong onto the next... otherwise you'll be stuck in this same position for a long time... cause if she said no now, i doubt it will ever go anywhere. so stay away from her for now to get over it and move on...

That is awesome that you made that step. It can be tough and make you feel vulnerable. But don’t stop now. Forget about her and ask the next girl out then the next one. I think the last comment is bad advice. You are a terrific person and deserve someone as great as you are. She is not the one so don't settle for scraps! They are out there so keep looking. Seriously..stay away from that girl for now. She will do nothing for your self esteem and confidense in meeting new woman. We have all been there.

maybe she just knows you too well, and would rather be friends? settle for what you can get for now, you never know if something might develope later. good luck
