Sex hurts... help!

My boyfriend and I have been tryin t hav sex for a while now, I trust him completely n he's reli gentle n understanding but no matter wat, it hurts me so much wen he tries to penetrate me...he cant even put his finger inside me cos its excrutiating!
i know that breaking the hymen sometimes hurts but I dunno if its that or my muscles r too tight?
has this happened to anyone else?
wat should I do?
is there something wrong with me?
any advice would be greatly appreciated

If it hurts that bad it most likely means you are too tense about sex and are not ready for it yet.

Do you use tampons? I think that really helped me because I got usd to having stuff 'up there' - so my boyfriend could at least get his finger in. Another question - can you put your fingers inside without pain? Because if not you really need to get comfortable with your own body before you try to have sex because otherwise it will continue to hurt.
The more you try the easier it will get. Sometimes it's worth putting up with the pain while he goes in furthur, rather than just telling him to pull out as soon as it starts to hurt. Don't worry, it wil work for you eventually :)

I was the same way when I first started having sex. He would try and use his fingers and it hurt horribly for a long time. After a while, it got so much better. Sex was bad at first. I think that he has to really loosen you up with a lot of foreplay. He has to relax your body and get you really turned on before it'll feel better. You could also try some lubricant if that doesn't work.
