I've had a crush on him every since i'm 12 (i am now 17) but this past month, i've realised it wasn't only a crush. We have been getting closer and closer each time we see each other but I just can't seem to tell him how I feel. He's my bestfriend's cousin and a really good friend. I'm really scared that if I tell him, he will change how he acts towards me. My bestfriend and her boyfriend are often telling me how he acts like if he likes me, and other people who sometimes spend a few hours with us, always ask if we are dating.
He kissed me once, but we were both drunk. That same night, he appologized for doing so and the day after he sent me an email telling me reasons why he won't ask me out. (not being ready for a relationship, doesn't want to get inbetween my bestfriend and I, scared that it will be awkward if we ever break up, etc...).
I really like him and i don't know what to do.

keep him close, be a good friend to him. maybe he will realise a change in feelings and act on them. don't be too available, make him know what he's missing. be positive

Well he has already told you he's not ready to be in a relationship. I think you should wait to see what happens.
