Yes, don't be afraid to talk to him about it. I'm sure he really does want to have sex with you, guys aren't as wrapped up in the importance of virginity as girls are.

You should talk to him about this, and make sure that he realizes what he's giving up.
Let him know that he's not pressured into it, and that it's okay if he's not ready.
Don't make him do anything he'll regret.
