I'm in love with the most increadable guy that i think God ever created. I LOVE HIM! The thing is that he's Christian and I'm hindu, that means that one of us will have to convert. And i know that that won't be him, he's sooo deeply attached to his religion. I'm afraid of hurting my parents by converting, and the thing is that im sure i really do want to convert. All that i know for sure is that i love him and i want to spend the rest of my life with him. He's told me quite honestly that he can't marry me unless I'm Christian ... I really am so lost as to what to do ...

Personally I think that religion should NEVER matter. Not organized religion anyways. I believe that people should believe what they believe, no matter the people around them, their parents, their love, what the leader of the religion says.
And besides the fact that labeling religions is just as bad as labeling cliques or whatever... if a guy doesn't love you for who you are never mind your religion, something is wrong. If you want to continue the clique comparison, it's the same as a jock not going out with an amazing girl because she isn't a cheerleader, or something like that. Admitably, religion is a bit deeper, but it's the same concept.
I agree that sometimes you have to sacrifice sometimes for love, but it's not a part of you that should be sacrificed.

if your parents really love you, it wont matter your religion, as long as you believe in god and you do your life right.
go for the man you love. dont make him change his religion, because i guarantee he's going to heaven

Only convert if YOU want to. If a man wouldn't marry you because you are of different religion...well, what kind of person would do that if they love you? Somebody who loves you should accept you for all that you are. But if you're willing to convert for him then go right ahead. Sometimes you have to sacrifice a little for love.

well if your parents truly love you then they will realize how much this boy means to you and let you convert. if they don't want you to then you have to make the decision of who you love the most and who you would rather have. your parents will love you inside forever though , they may not show it but they do. dont let religion come between your love for this boy. x
