What should I do?

So, my grandfather passed away recently and left his dog chappy to me. He loved Chappy very much, he pampered him like he was his only child or something. Well I always complimented him on how well maintained he kept him. Because he was always bathig him and putting bows in his har (even though it was a male dog.)
So when he passed, he left Chappy with me to take care of. The problem is, I hate the fucking dog. It's a 16 year old black Poodle that is blind out of both eyes, craps all over the house, smells like freakin decomposed fish or something And has NO TEETH!!! IT disgusts me to be quite honest.
So he made me promise that I would take care of his beloved Chappy the way that he did.
Basically he wants me to bathe him 4 times a week, take him on walks to the park- which entails carrying his grosse crusty butt all the way there, brushing his teeth and picking the crusted poop off his butt... everyday.
So I'd rather put the damn dog to sleep but I'd feel too bad. What should I do?

damn your screwed. you should of crossed your fingers when you promised.
you know the dog probably dosent even want to live, he is blind and no TEETH!!!
so you should make him a lil party and give him all his favorite food and treat him like a king and then later next day put him to sleep. your grandfather will understand

If the dog is too much for you then give him up to somebody who is willing to love and care for him.
