Why can`t she love me?

My girlfriend left to go to college four states away. Went to a convention and cheated on me. The bad part the person she cheated with had a girlfriend...me and this girl fell in love. But she still loves and is with that person.

Why do I love someone who can`t let go of a lying cheater?
