Worried..
Hey, just wondering if anyone could tell me whether or not a doctor would have to speak to your parents or take any action if they saw you had cut yourself?
i had a doctors apointment today and she saw some old scars up my arm and she aked me what they were and I just said that I hadnt done them and now I'm just worrying incase she would tell my parents or something.
i would really really hate for them to find out because it would kill them.
and I dont want any other action taken because I'm doing fine on my own

Good for you to have stopped hurting yourself. It must have been very tough.
A doctor must obey patient-doctor confidentality, so no, your doctor cannot say anything to anyone without your consent to do so. She was probably just concerned about your health and well being.
Don't be worried, honey. She really can't say anything.
