he has chosen you over her and although she always guna be around, if there was anything still between them he wouldnt have told you about her.
i think that you deserve someone that makes you that happy. you should tell him how you're feeling and see how he feels, dont give up right away. it not everyday you find someone you can communicate with and trust like that.. good luck(:
