I am 21 years old. I am just quitting my addiction to cigarettes and pop. Life has been hard so I see myself as being able to give good advice (and so I have been told). However, I can never see my own life so I can't give myself advice. Pretty messed up huh? Oh, yeah. Facebook

Here is my own point of view. Having a facebook shouldn't place you in any type of popularity contest. It also seems as though you are at an unnecessary point in your life to have one.
Admittedly I was one of the first people in my high school to get a facebook; ofcourse this was way back when it first came to be. However, when I got it I was also going to be moving away from every friend I had ever known and it would be hard to keep in contact with such a large group of friends with just a phone. Or so I felt. Since than facebook has been my network to old friends that I rarely see but still truly care for.
Facebook has also been known for its drama. I don't see so much through my own but I use it to check in with friends, as foretold.
Be careful if you get one. Things get leaked sometimes other times they dont.

And dont worry if you dont get one ever. My brother never got one; he never saw the point and he is almost 20.
