Mopy's right. Dry humping + no clothes + no protection + potential fertility = possible unwanted pregnancy.

Wow, i've had that as a blog on my myspace for the longest time! Maybe we know the same person :P

NO! Don't do anything stupid! This is real life, not Romeo and Juliet... things will get better, I promise!

Aww! This is all so cute!

My first kiss was at a bonfire. We were sitting around talking... and he leaned in for a rather sloppy, wet one. Then everything got quiet and people started laughing at us.

So... mine was awkward as hell, and nothing to write home about, I suppose. :P

I am in love and living with an older man. I'm 18, he's 43. I wouldn't say it's a fetish for me... it just happened this way. I've always thought older guys with salt-and-pepper hair were attractive, though. My favorite male actors have always been middle-aged guys... like George Clooney, Richard Gere, and classy guys like that.

And there are a million different fetishes out there. Unless your fetish brings harm to yourself or others, exploring it could be a potentially healthy option.

AFTER you're a legal adult, I mean. I forgot to mention that. Anything before that could bring trouble to you or the man you're with.
  • 6/17/2009 11:28:00 PM
What? You mean you don't support widespread discrimination of people based on the amount of melanin produced by their skin? SCANDALOUS!!!! ;D
  • 6/17/2009 3:37:00 AM
That's actually one of the most well-thought-out "love letters" on here. Thanks for posting it.

You know, I know exactly how you feel. I moved out a while ago, but I come back to visit every week because my grandfather was diagnosed with cancer. But every time I come back, my mother has something to say about how pasty my skin is. I can't help that I can't tan. Why don't they realize that what they say is hurtful? And it's nothing REALLY mean... it's just those little comments that wear away at me and break my self-esteem down bit by bit. I can't stand it.

I'm living with a man 25 years older.

As long as you're of age, it's legal, and it doesn't matter. Age is but a number.
  • 6/16/2009 7:23:00 PM
two years is nothing. I'm dating a man 25 years older than myself, and it's great. Of course, I'm an adult, so it's legal, so I would recommend just waiting until you're out of high school until you worry about dating older people. Age is just a number... in the real world it doesn't make much of a difference.

Ugh. How stupid.

PandaBearr and nothing are right. You don't look half as bad as you think. Just smile, keep your chin up, and remind yourself that you're beautiful!!!

Lauren, you're the best.

Badbabe, get a life.

Lauren and Joey are right. And you know what? Don't feel bad about it. You've done a lot of good by helping people out.

I had a random guy find me on myspace who was genuinely suicidal. My first instinct was to ignore him, but I ignored that instead. It turns out, he was military, and I don't know what kind of access to firearms he had. I talked him through enough to calm him down, and then I went to the police and had him taken into protective custody. I don't know him well, but if I hadn't been there, God knows what he would've done to himself. Some may not think that was the best thing to do, but I couldn't have helped him as much as he wanted, and he's now in a place where he can at least start to get his life back on track.

If you are able to advise people, then many of them probably see you as as blessing. Look at it that way.

I agree with Joey. Keep brushing up on the subject until you have the chance to take the test again.
  • 6/1/2009 2:43:00 PM
AHHHH.

Lauren, we love you! Don't ever ever ever forget that EVER!

Wow. And I thought MY mom was crazy. Does she realize that a lot of girls do it these days? And what about it specifically does she have a problem with???
  • 5/28/2009 3:49:00 PM
I know, it's horrid. It usually stems from people feeling negatively about themselves, so they feel the need to make others feel even lower. Hopefully they'll grow out of it.
