You know, people often forget that childbirth is actually dangerous. You can die from giving birth! It's actually very much a health risk.
Pro-lifers forget what other factors go along with the decision making process. All they see is "baby", and that's all they want to see (although, it isn't a baby yet). Don't ever get an abortion, they say, because that's murder!!! Well, actually, it could be, in fact, murder not to. Murder of the mother's own self. Basic suicide. But, is that often ever taken into consideration? Not hardly ever. They seem to eliminate the "woman" (who may be an ovulating child for all we know) from the equation and concentrate on only fresh new only potential life. Not life that has been already lived and asserted, mind you, but life of something that isn't even breathing yet! Some people call them babies. Some call them parasites, or as a friend of mine called it, "womb feces". The truth is, they are what they are, neither baby nor feces. The thing is simply an embryo or fetus. It may possibly become a baby, but it's never guaranteed. There isn't, after all, such a thing as a conception party, only one's birthday party! Perhaps pro-lifers should capitalize on such a thing... if they really gave a crap about embryos and fetuses! In my world, you have a period of time to terminate the organism until it's developed enough to be predicted to survive the remainder of the term and be a health risk to both incubator and embryo/fetus if terminated. And, that is months before a fetus is said to have any sort of feeling.
Before another pro-lifer tells another single soul that aborting an embryo is greater than or equal to murdering a baby (which is a living, breathing being, by the by), they should get a fucking clue and experience one or the other. Some of us have actually murdered another human being before (oh, sorry, I guess you didn't think that sort of person could possibly be here on your internetszzz, or even here on your secrettalking website). And, murdering a human being isn't the fucking same thing at all as having a minor medical procedure done. Even murdering a newborn wouldn't be even close to having abort it as an embryo. There's a hands-on aspect to murder which cannot be ignored and avoided, nor confused with a medical procedure, sorry.
