wait for him, he is a good man, you will find no better than him and if you can't wait for him, doesn't that say something about yourself.
maybe you should talk to him, I'm sure he'd understand , is after all your bestfriend as well, why bring other people into your relationship? bestfriends are there to share secrets you know... maybe a secret fantasiues might get him interested... if the secrets are of a more serious matter...talk them over... this will take time but relationships are built on good communicateion, don't let the talking break down but give time to adjust to change.
compremise can help alot in this case...not everything is written stone... work thru your differences, I'm sure not everything you think is important ,he disagrees with, just like not everything you do think is important he agrees with... I'm sure you both have simularities and differences... try to find the middle ground... and I'm sure he has been hurt by this sometimes, thats why I said don't let the talk die down and wait for change, it takes longer to change, give him some time. as we grow older are believes and point of view changes, your's will too, what you think is important now, might not be later on.
